While a lot of our volunteer knitters pay for their own wool to make items for the needy we also have women, and some men, who would love to help us but cannot afford to.

So if you have any spare wool, remnants of material, or anything that can be turned into something to keep people clothed and warm we would greatly appreciate them. We could also use any spare knitting needles, crochet hooks, wooden coat hangers that can be covered so we can encourage those people who wish to help but cannot.

We would also accept donations for purchase of wool, needles and postage to the charities we help. Contact me at needystitches@gmail.com for an address or simply pay by PayPal. Anything you can spare would be very much appreciated by not only the knitters but also the needy person that will benefit from your kindness. A few dollars could keep a child warm this winter.
