Today we donated 98 items for the needy to WAYSS in Dandenong.

As you can see this is a very worthwhile organisation who do a lot of work with people in need.
The ladies I spoke to were very apprecative of what we donated, and of course they need so much more

Today we donated 95 items to
Southern Health
Monash Hospital
Jane Livingstone who coordinates the volunteers was very appreciative of what we donated. They are in desperate need of turbans for cancer patients, both sewn and knitted.

135 items were donated today to City Life Community Service who offer and outreach program to the homeless and disadvantaged

72 items donated to St. Pauls Anglican Church, High Street, Frankston
St. Pauls have a breakfast each morning Mon to Sat for the homeless
April 2nd, 2009
Today we donated 113 items to City Mission. This organisation does a lot of work with the homeless and with winter coming on they are in need of everything.
Things were a little slow this month, i think the hot weather took a toll on everyone and i always find it harder to knit when it is hot but hopefully next month will be better.
9th. April, 2009
I delivered 19 items to the RSPCA in Pearcedale today.
They are in need of cat blankets. We just used odd bits of leftover wool and material and mafe them up into 15 inch squares.
23rd. April 2009
Today we delivered 92 items to Monash Hospital. They were mainly baby clothes (jumpers, matinee jackets and premmie jackets and blankets) booties and babies blankets.
24th April, 2009
Today Dave, a Driver from WAYSS, picked up 114 items for donation to the Domestic Violence and Abuse section of WAYSS.
WAYSS are in desperate need of anything we can make as they deal with all ages!
We have donated a total of 906 items to different
organisations since January, 2009
We need 594 items to reach our target of 1500 !!

Our Mothers Day Project was a big success! Today we donated to the Bayview Nursing Home 23 items which included 8 lapghans, 2 pillows and a 13 covered coat hangers!

Today WAYSS picked up another 54 items. They consisted of polar fleece blankets, crocketed babies blankets, lots of kids jumpers and some sewn jeans for babies to 3 year olds
Just 475 items left to reach our target of 1500 items donated this year!!!

Today we donated another 103 items to City Mission. With the winter months fast approaching and the nights already cold they are grateful for what we manage to donate as it helps to keep someone warm

Dave, the driver for WAYSS picked up 92 items for this organisation today. I spoken with Yvonne earlier inthe day (the coordinator) who expressed how appreciative WAYSS is to receive our donations. She asked me to pass on my thanks to all the wonderful ladies who send me parcels throughout the month to help this wonderful organisation out.

Today we donated to Monash Hospital 107 items of which included 42 chemo cap turbans for women going through chemo who have lost their hair.
This makes 1327 items donated to various organisations this year!! Just 173 left to reach our target of 1500!!

Today I mailed to Anglicare Soup Kitchen in Mittagong 23 items, consisting of scarves, beanies and bedsocks.

Today we donated 83 items to Southern Health consisting of babies jumpers, boottees, babies beanies, toys and crocheted blankets!
WE HAVE REACHED AND GONE OVER OVER TARGET OF 1500 ITEMS DONATED. THE TOTAL TO DATE IS 1581!! WHO KNOWS HOW MANY WE CAN GET DONE BY THE END OF THE YEAR!! THE SKY IS THE LIMIT!

Today we delivered to the Caroline Chisholm Society in Moonee Ponds, Victoria 308 baby items. This organisation does wonderful work with pregnancy crisis and helping out needy people with kids aged 0-4 years

Today we delivered 145 items to WAYSS in Dandenong. These were mainly scarves, bedsocks and beanies with a few other bits and pieces thrown in!
